Project name: Development of technology for stabilisation of digestate from biogas production by degradable organic matrix for the purpose of soil fertilisation
Programme title: TJ - Programme for the support of applied research ZÉTA
Call number: 1st public call of the Programme for Support of Applied Research ZÉTA
Call title: ZÉTA Applied Research Support Programme
Project title: Development of technology for stabilisation of digestate from biogas production using degradable organic matrix for soil fertilisation
Project Registration No.: TJ01000281
Project description: the aim of the project is the development of technology for the regeneration of waste from the production of first-generation biofuels and biogas for machine fertilization of agricultural land. The use and combination of two types of waste, digestates and cake, alcohol residues and rapeseed scrap, which are currently difficult to process, either by spraying or incineration, will result in a unique new product - a soil amendment for agricultural crop nutrition. By returning the contained nutrients to the soil, it will achieve, in contrast to the current treatment of these wastes, an increased sustainability and yield of agricultural soils and a reduction of the permanent soil nutrient deficit caused by overloading fields by purposeful single-species sowing
Total eligible expenditure: 3,300,080 CZK
Physical implementation:
- Stage I - preparation of the organic matrix: 2017
- Stage II - stabilisation tests: 2018
- Stage III - tests of manufactured soil amendments: 2019
