As the independent department was formed in 1955 when it separated from the Department of repair. In the long term independent department existence were created by the current needs of new subjects, some disappeared or were transformed into the new contents and scope. In this course was organized by the Department and the exercises are guided through practical workshops. In higher grades, exercises are complemented by excursions in major enterprises engaged in the theme of the subjects. An integral part of the activities of the scientific and technical cooperation department staff with research institutes, universities, institutes and companies outside the CUA. The closest cooperation with partner departments are equally or similarly oriented, many manufacturing companies and government authorities.
