Project name: Research of new growing methods of fruit species in the combined use of agricultural land with the production and local use of electricity from renewable sources
Programme Title: Applied „ZEMĚ“ research programme of the Ministry of Agriculture for the period of 2017–2025
Registration number: QK23020107
Annotation: The aim of the project is to research and verify new methods of growing fruit species within the framework of the combined use of land for growing crops and producing electricity from renewable sources, the so-called agrivoltaics. The effect of installed photovolt. panels on the production and prosperity of cultivated crops, especially Rubus a Ribes, will be monitored, compared to the reference area. The energy obtained will subsequently be used for the automation and robotization of field work or the irrigation of cultivated crops. A methodology for growers will be developed based on verified measurement results and used methods. It will enable the development of a new concept of agrivoltaics for permanent crops in the conditions of the Czechia together with the peer-reviewed articles.
