Project name: Freely available satellite images in the microwave part of the electromagnetic spectrum as a source of information for optimizing plant production
Programme Title: Applied „ZEMĚ“ research programme of the Ministry of Agriculture for the period of 2017–2025
Registration number: QK22010014
Annotation: The aim of the project is to refine and correctly interpret the results from the processing of SAR, especially freely available data from the Sentinel 1 satellite, while supplementing and refining the information using images from the optical part of the spectrum, soil and plant samples and ground sensors. Methodological procedures for data interpretation will be defined in order to optimize of agrotechnical interventions and using advanced procedures (yield models) in crop production to achieve maximum yield parameters of different crop families with regard to soil protection and support of ecological landscape stability. The proposed methodological procedures will be applicable in the conditions of typical agricultural practice in the Czech Republic
