General information about project
Project name: Research and development of smart farming technologies for small and medium-sized farms
Programme Title: TH - EPSILON Applied Research and Experimental Development Support Programme
Call number: 4th call for proposals of the EPSILON Programme for the Support of Applied Research and Experimental Development
Call title: Sub-programme 1 - Knowledge economy
Project title: Research and development of smart farming technologies for small and medium-sized farms.
Project ID number: TH04010494
Project description: The aim of the project is to design and validate data collection procedures on land area imbalance and the development of advanced farm record processing algorithms for locally targeted implementation of cultivation operations in the conditions of small and medium-sized farms and their subsequent validation in the form of field trials. The solution focuses in particular on the area of controlling fertiliser application rates to achieve optimum levels of plant nitrogen nutrition and the problem of changing the seeding rate during crop establishment. In view of the considerable land fragmentation, the increasing prices of primary production inputs and the increasingly important legislative restrictions on the use of chemicals, a high potential for application in the Czech Republic can be expected
